Julius Peppers wants to return for another year with the Packers
Julius Peppers is not getting any younger, but he has become a veteran in the Packers locker room. The veteran is not ready to hang up his cleats just yet. According to ESPN Wisconsin, he has at least another year left in the tank.
“That’s the plan. I hope so,” Peppers said, via ESPN Wisconsin. “So far, so good. I feel like the team as a whole has played well, obviously we wanted to make the playoffs and win the division and all those things, and we’re on track to do everything we set out to do.”
Peppers has 31 registered hurries and 11 quarterback hits which are both in the top 10 at his position. He has also registered 7 sacks this season.
Peppers might be forced to restructure his 12 million dollar cap figure, but the Packers would love to have him back I’m sure.
“Maybe,” Peppers said. “That hasn’t even been on my radar, to be honest with you. It’s not really important right now, so I haven’t really thought about it.”
