California High School Football Coach charged with Murder in DUI crash that killed pedestrian

Cameron Curtis was a well-known coach at Palm Desert High School in California. Just 33 years old, he will be spending quite a bit of time in prison for a bad choice.
According to reports, the former high school football coach who ran over and killed a 64-year-old pedestrian was convicted of second-degree murder.
Curtis will be sentenced on May 9th, 2025, according to reports, and is being held without bail for the murder of Nancy Valdes.
A Police report indicates that Curtis had been at the bar drinking by himself for two hours. He had consumed 91 ounces of beer and two shots of hard liquor before leaving the bar. Curtis told police he knew what he did and had slurred speech and bloodshot eyes.
Curtis is no longer employed by the School District and will face time for the death of Mrs. Valdes. Please keep the families in your prayers.
