What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2025 NFL Draft?
I see myself as a top prospect in my position because of my versatility. I’ve shown that I can be an accurate field goal kicker with great range as well as an accurate kick-off kicker who can place the ball wherever on the field and kick the ball out of the endzone when needed. I can also punt. Also in high school, I was a 3 sport athlete. I played soccer and ran track. I have high endurance. For soccer, you have to be able to run back and forth all game and not get tired. Then for the track, I ran hurdles in fact I was the state champion so I can run really fast.
What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
One thing NFL teams should know about me is that I’m not just a kicker, I’m a leader, a competitor, and a trailblazer. I take pride in breaking barriers as one of the few Black kickers at the Division 1 level, and I bring a level of focus, resilience, and work ethic that has been forged through unique experiences on and off the field. For example, I self-taught myself this position. I wanted to play football and this position was available so I took it. I practiced every day and my junior year I got a shot to be the varsity kicker. I ended that year being the #2 field goal kicker in the state. I’m committed to being the most reliable player they can count on, both under pressure and as a part of their locker room culture.

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
COVID-19 affected my junior year of track. I was determined to set a p.r. and most importantly I wanted to be a champion. But due to Covid, I did not get a season. During my down time, I kept up my practicing. I said if I had a chance my senior year I would accomplish my goal. My senior year I went for it all. I ended my final season as a state champion in track with the 300-meter hurdles.
