- Who is the NFL player you compare yourself the most to? Why is that?
An NFL player I would compare myself to the most is Kyle Hamilton of the Baltimore Ravens. He plays safety, but is someone that you see everywhere on the field because of his versatility. I compare myself to him because I can play multiple positions on the field and we both have a great football IQ.
- What aspects of playing in the NFL do you find to be intriguing?
One of the aspects I find most intriguing about playing in the NFL is turning a game I love into a career for myself. Also, being a fierce competitor, I would love to have the opportunity to compete against the best athletes in the world.
- In what ways have you improved since last season?
I have improved in a multitude of ways, both on and off the field. On the field, I learned how to play linebacker, which helped me gain a better understanding of offensive and defensive line schemes. This new knowledge allowed me to play faster. I also learned the importance of taking mental reps at practice and communicating more during pre-snaps of plays. Off the field, I have improved at watching and studying over film. I can now identify certain player tendencies, analyze offensive schemes, and find ways to correct flaws in my own game.
- What is your favorite memory so far as a college football player?
My favorite college memory is playing in the National Championship this past season. While playing in the game meant a lot, all the hard work and dedication that happened throughout the season to get to that point made it that more special.
- What is the most important thing you would like NFL scouts, coaches, and general
managers to know about you?
One thing an NFL team should know is that I can adapt to any environment. Throughout my college career, I have played at three different universities where my energy and positivity has been contagious, bringing out the best in my teammates. No matter the situation, the team can always count on me to be my authentic self.
