What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2025 NFL Draft?
What makes me a top prospect is that my path is not like others, a lot of guys have had the opportunity to play 10+ games in a season, but me, I had to claw and scratch to just get a couple in my CAREER! But because of this, I learned so much that it’s allowed me to become the athlete that I am today, someone who is not afraid of a challenge!
What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
I’m a hard worker first and foremost, but I’m a versatile player who is not afraid of running the ball, catching the ball, blocking, or catching kickoffs or punts!
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
Of course, all of them, but I wanted to start my own fund, specifically in my hometown for high schoolers, both athlete and non-athlete, who are heading to college or would like to go to college that don’t have the funds to buy essentials such as books, computers, food, etc. Being someone who’s finishing college, there has been times where it was a bit challenging not having an athletic scholarship at the D3 level, so I want to make sure no one ever must go through that!
Who was your role model?
God has blessed me with an immense support group, so it’s hard to say who was my one role model, but one person I could say is my father, Douglas Stewart, he taught me the game of both sports and life, how to deal with wins and how to deal with losses correctly, and most importantly how to communicate.
Who is your favorite NFL team?
I can’t lie, I am a player fan, but I still show love to the Bears and Chiefs.
Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?
I could say me and go on about what I went through, but one of the most underrated guy on my team was Donta Shaw, he was a hard worker both on and off the field, and I saw it personally when we would work out together even after already doing off season stuff or team workouts. He worked hard for everything he earned, and I believe he deserves even more!
What is your biggest pet peeve?
My biggest pet peeve is when people downplay great accomplishments! It baffles me that nowadays people want to be nonchalant but forget that it’s okay to be proud of something you worked hard for, something that you even sacrificed things for!
Who is your favorite teacher ever?
Mrs. Chmielewski, my second-grade teacher, the reason why I was able to achieve one of the highest reading scores in the district and why I ended up being an honors level student, she believed in me when other teachers looked at me and counted me out! She showed me that it doesn’t take much to show kindness and effort to EVERYONE instead of the “good” ones.
Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
I would say having to overcome the doubts from others on getting an opportunity to play college ball. I was never the guy in high school, but I still made the most of any opportunities that came my way. So, when I realized that I wanted to play college ball and I knew the doubts of me making it were large, I put my head down and worked my way to getting double digit offers. And although I can only pick one school, it helped me realize that if I say I can, then I can.
If you could have any franchise restaurant in your house, what would it be?
McDonald’s, I know it’s not healthy, but I just can’t get enough of it.
What is your favorite snack food?
Xtreme Cheddar Goldfish
What is your degree in?
Leadership and Management(Bachelor of Science)
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?
Michael Jackson, Michael Jordan, and Michael Irvin
What is your biggest weakness?
I’m a very proud person, because of this, I tend to get caught up in constructive criticism, not too often, but enough to where I had to come to the realization that because I work to be the best and almost near perfect athlete and person that I can be, I forget that I can’t be perfect, but I can be better than I was yesterday.
