Joe Burrow Joins Elite Company with Five-Touchdown Game in Bengals’ Win Over Raiders

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow showcased his remarkable talent once again, throwing five touchdown passes in a commanding 41-24 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders. This marks Burrow’s second game of the season with five touchdown passes, having previously achieved the feat in Week 5.

Burrow’s performance places him in elite company as only the fifth quarterback in the past 15 seasons to throw five or more touchdown passes in multiple home games within a single season. He joins a distinguished list that includes Tom Brady (2021), Drew Brees (2011), Ben Roethlisberger (2014), and Russell Wilson (2020).

Beyond this season’s achievements, Burrow’s consistency is setting a historical pace. He now has 19 career games with at least three touchdown passes, tying him with Justin Herbert and Pro Football Hall of Famer Peyton Manning for the fifth-most such games in a player’s first five NFL seasons. Only legends Dan Marino (33 games), Kurt Warner (21), and active stars Patrick Mahomes (28) and Josh Allen (20) have surpassed him in this category.

Burrow’s record-setting achievements and knack for high-scoring games are proving invaluable to the Bengals’ success, establishing him as one of the league’s top quarterbacks and a key force in Cincinnati’s playoff ambitions.
