What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

It all started when I was growing up and my dad played it and it was a great sport to play at a young age and I always had a love for the game.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Beating Iowa State this year having a career high in tackles and getting MAC defensive player of the week after that game. Getting first team group of 5 All American and 3rd team All American I feel like were also great accomplishments.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

Try to go to the NFL and maximize my potential to help the team and better others around me.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Ray Lewis, my all time favorite football player ever since I played this sport.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My father, because he is a good role model and showed me how to be a man and is my guidance in a lot of areas.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

4-3, because me being a middle linebacker I like going sideline to sideline and it gives me the ability to do that.

What should we know about Bryce Houston the person?

He is a very well rounded individual, he’s a leader and he always lends a helping to make people better.

What stands out about your film the most?

My physicality, the way I approach the game is an old school physical approach and that jumps out the most.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

Approach it head on whether that’s dealing with a person or problem and move on or go to the next play.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A leader, role model, stud athlete, a good football player and a great teammate.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

The opportunity to be able to hit someone on the field as well as an opportunity to enforce my will on another person.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Rodney Mathews, he was our defensive tackle and he held it down for us and is one of the most underrated defensive tackles in the draft.
