Player Summary:

Duke is a 5th year OC who has started 32 of 39 games including 13 of 13 in the 22 season. Has also had considerable playing time and started 3 games at RG for the Bruins. He has been a mainstay and an anchor of the offensive line since 2019. Processing solid height and weight, a firm athletic build that could continue to put on quality mass, adequate arm and hand measurements, and a good combination of agility, short-area burst, and open field speed. Duke has great FBI as he can process fronts and ID the MLB quickly to get the offensive line moving in the right direction for pass protection and zone blocking. He does a great job being disciplined, keeping his eyes on the LBer he has in the run game, and adjusting to loopers and blitzes in the passing game. He is a very smooth and efficient blocker, with little wasted movement in the zone run game, and uses his hands very well. He is not a big bruising OC, but he knows how to place his hands and uses his positional leverage to his advantage in displacing DL bigger than him. He has the speed to get out in the open field for the screen game, outside zone, and stretch plays, but also displays adequate toughness to be a factor in the gap scheme and keep lanes open for the RB.

Scheme Fit:

Zone Scheme, and Gap Scheme, Screen game. could play some OG as he has done that before, but primarily OC.

 Power Statement:

A technically sound offensive center with agility and speed to be a factor in every play. A high-speed processor that can make calls and adjust to movement pre-snap and post-snap.
