NFLHeads interviewed Warren Thomas, defensive end, who has been itching for a call from a professional team. Thomas is willing to put in the work to win, and this interview shows that.

What to you is the most passionate part of football for you?

Thomas told us that being able to win is the most passionate part of playing football, and said that being able to achieve victory and success is his reason for playing football.

What do you think sets you apart from other defensive lineman in the draft?

Thomas explained to us that his length and quickness sets him apart from other defensive ends, and also said that energy, passion, and being an x-factor are extremely important to his play style

Was there an NFL athlete you have looked up to in your career?

Thomas said that growing up JJ Watt was his inspiration because of the ferocity that he played with,and that Chandler Jones and Frank Clark are also huge inspirations because of the energy that they play with.

Is there a teammate or coach that has made a lasting impact on your career?

Warren said that his junior high coach, d-line coach, gave the right mindset and really helped him to pay attention to the small details and all of the specifics of the game.

If you have your choice of which NFL team you could play for who would it be?

Thomas said he would like to play for the Houston Texans because he did some work in their stadium and the Texans were his hometown team.

What specific role do you see yourself in on an NFL team?

Thomas talked about his versatility in being someone that could play anywhere and do anything, and a player that can play every down on the field.

What is the most important part of being a player to you?

Thomas said that doing your job and having a passion for the game were the most important things for him to do as an NFL player.

What was the most impactful game you have ever played in?

Thomas talked about a game last year against #5 team at home, while they did end up losing on the last drive, they played a good game on defense and it was a last second defeat.

What do you want your football legacy to be?

Thomas wants to be known as somebody who didn’t give up, gave their all, and always had a passion for the game.

What aspect of your game would you like to improve the most?

Thomas said that getting stronger and being able to move faster are the things he would like to improve on the most because in the NFL everyone is bigger and stronger, and constantly trying to get bigger and increase strength.
