Florida HS football player completely brain dead after collapsing during game; Family removes player from life support
According to multiple reports, Jacquez Welch the high school football player who collapsed during a game on Friday is completely brain dead and his family removed him from life support on Monday.
The Tampa Bay Times is reporting that the family that Welch’s organs will be donated to others and seven lives could be saved by her son.
Welch was a senior captain at Northeast High School in St. Petersburg. He made a tackle and never got up during a game against Seminole Osceola High School.
Welch was suffering from bleeding on the brain from a preexisting condition according to his coach.
This is so sad, because Welch was a gamer. Please keep the Welch family in your prayers.
