Two football players who burned a pride flag saying “all gays die” could get off with community service?
This makes no sense to me. Two high school football players in Kearns, Utah posted a video on Snapchat last week lighting an LGBTQ Pride flag on fire and laughing. The kids were heard saying “all gays die” and they may get in trouble?
Yes, you are reading that right. The two students were suspended from the team, but the Granite School District officials are trying to find out the proper punishment. They feel community service or a school suspension should work. Are you kidding me?
They are not sure if the students will face a criminal charge yet, but my question is should they?
If you ask me this is bullying to the highest degree, including a threat. Both kids should absolutely be charged for making the threat. What do you think?
