Bryant McKinnie says Jonathan Martin “Went about it the wrong way”
Bryant McKinnie was brought into Miami because of the void the Dolphins had on the O-Line, but today McKinnie told Sirius XM NFL Radio about his take on the Jonathan Martin/Richie Incognito. I kind of agree with McKinnie, but what do you think?
“I don’t feel like ‘bullying’ is the term because nobody physically harmed him or made him do anything,” McKinnie said. “He always had an option to say yes or no. It was never that he got bullied like he feared for his life. I just feel like he went about it the wrong way and didn’t communicate properly with the proper people. . . . The players themselves thought Jonathan was laughing with them.”
Whether Martin was laughing with them or not, the damage is already done, and it looks like the Dolphins could go into 2014 with a brand new offensive line. John Jerry, Jonathan Martin and Richie Incognito are all probably out, Bryant McKinnie is a free agent and Mike Pouncey is likely to be suspended.
