Will the Browns lose Alex Mack? The Jaguars have him for a visit, but will need to spend big money

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Saturday that the Jacksonville Jaguars hosted the transition tagged Cleveland Browns center on Friday. Mack and Jacksonville continue to talk and an offer sheet is a possibility, according to two sources informed of the visit.

According to Rapoport, the Browns and Mack have continued to negotiate since the March 3 tag date, but no deal is imminent. Rapoport reported last month that four teams were in contact with Mack’s camp on varying levels, including the Indianapolis Colts and Baltimore Ravens. It’s believed that Mack’s meeting with Jacksonville is his first with any team, but from what others are saying it is going to be hard a huge deal if one does get done.

League source estimated a Mack offer sheet would need to include “$22 million fully guaranteed over first 3 yrs of deal,” to make Cleve pass

Keep your eyes and ears posted Browns fans.
