Vikings hired former four time Pro Bowler Jerry Gray as their defensive backs coach

Gray, who has spent the last three seasons as the Titans’ defensive coordinator, will now be the Vikings’ secondary coach, according to Alex Marvez of FOX Sports.

This is awesome news for the young guys like Xavier Rhodes and Josh Robinson.  Jerry Gray is a very solid coach, and was in the NFL for several teams as their d-backs coach as well as a coordinator. Let’s not forget when he was with the Rams he might have had the best jheri curl in the world.

The 51-year-old Gray played defensive back in the NFL for nine years and was a four-time Pro Bowler.
