Two players have caught, rushed, and threw a TD in the same game; Can you name them?
This is a pretty interesting fact about the NFL because I always knew one of the players was Sweetness. I remember watching highlights of the 1979 game where Walter Payton ran a touchdown, threw a touchdown, and caught a touchdown in the same game. So I began looking and digging for others that have done it and since the NFL has started, only one other player has accomplished this crazy stat. I was looking to see what player it was, and it happened back in 2001.
That player was David Patten, the former New England Patriots wide receiver that tore up the Indianapolis Colts. I thought this was a pretty interesting fact. Did you know it?
