Raiders QB Schaub is mad that he was benched for a rookie
Today Matt Schaub expressed some anger and disappointment towards losing his starting spot to rookie Derek Carr.
“I’m definitely disappointed, but it wouldn’t do me or the team any good if I just stood here and felt sorry for myself,” Schaub said, via Scott Bair of CSNBayArea.com. “I only know how to handle things one way. That’s to move forward and stay productive and get myself ready each day so I’m prepared if called upon.”
I too would be upset. I am a competitive person and at the end of the day, I honestly feel that Carr is the right move, but I can see how it sucks as a veteran.
