Nick Foles will start against the Tampa Bay Bucs this week

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick is expected to miss next Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers due to his hamstring injury, a source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Eagles coach Chip Kelly said Sunday after his team defeated the New York Giants that Vick is still his starting quarterback when he’s healthy.

This is great news for Vick, but if Foles comes in and performs well, like he did last week late against the Giants, this could get interesting in Philly.

I cannot stand quarterback controversies, but this would be a interesting battle.  I think Foles has what it takes to be great in this league, he just needs to be unleashed.
