Giants say move over Ryan Nassib; Team signs former veteran QB

The Giants are planning on life without Eli. Eli is expected to miss quite a bit of time with a surgery in the off-season.  It is not looking good for Ryan Nassib the teams draft pick from last year.  The team has now signed two veteran quarterbacks.

Ryan NassibCurtis Painter and Josh Freeman were already on hand to handle any of the team’s quarterbacking needs in the near future, but the Giants have gone ahead and added another name to the mix. The team announced Monday that they have signed Rusty Smith to their growing bullpen.

Smith was a sixth-round pick of the Titans in 2010 and spent the last four seasons in Tennessee as a backup to a variety of quarterbacks. He saw action in three games, made one start in his rookie season and finished his run with the Titans with 23 completions in 45 attempts for 234 yards and four interceptions.
