FCS Standout DE Shaquille Riddick is leaving Gardner Webb for the FBS?
Today, we were informed that Shaquille Riddick the 6’6, 244 pound defensive end product from Gardner Webb University is leaving the program. Our sources are telling us that Riddick is trying to get into an FBS school and has not made up his mind yet.
Riddick is an Ohio, Native and some likely landing spots are Kent State, Akron, Toledo, Miami of Ohio and any other MAC school.
Riddick is a very amazing pass rush specialist who finished last season on the Buck Buchanan Award list for the best defensive prospect in the FCS. Riddick is a stud defensive end and rated right now as a 3rd to 4th round draft pick. If he can get into an FBS program and perform, the level of competition question will be out the question. Riddick could boost himself into the top rounds with an amazing senior season.
