Eagles cut ties with wide receiver Arrelious Benn
Arrelious Benn is no longer a Philadelphia Eagles. Today the Eagles released the former Illinois standout wide receiver. Benn had the inhury bug and they will now turn to the rookie class to fill his spot.
Benn is coming off a torn ACL and was scheduled to make $1.1 million, so it wouldn’t be surprising if the Eagles bring him back at a lower salary. A second-round pick by the Bucs in 2010, Benn has struggled with injuries throughout his career and has just 59 catches over the last three seasons.
