Cowboys sign Jason Vega to 53 man roster; Former CFL Defensive Lineman

Jason Vega has never played in an NFL game. He could get his chance this weekend.

The Cowboys signed Vega off its practice squad Friday to provide some depth for a defensive line that has been staggered by injuries. The 6-foot-3 defensive end was part of the Northeastern program that dropped football after the 2009 season.

“I’ve waited a long time for this,” Vega said.

Vega was a former standout in the CFL. He could turn out to be a Cameron wake type of player. Ya never know….
