Contract parameters for Sam Shields have now been set by Brent Grimes deal

Brent Grimes is 30 plus years old and today he received a contract extension worth 4 years and 32 million with 16 million guaranteed.

Dolphins gave Pro-Bowl CB Brent Grimes a four-year, $32 million deal that includes $16 million guaranteed, per ESPN source.

That is a blessing when you look at it, because one player who was hoping to get around 4 years and 22 million should now be smiling. That player is Sam Shields of the Green Bay Packers.  He was really interested in re-signing with the Packers and was looking for a deal worth around what Tim Jennings received in a 4 year deal worth 22 million. Well with Brent Grimes getting a bigger pay day, the 26 year old Shields could be destined to get a pretty penny.  Good thing he waited his time, Good Luck Sam.
