Colts sign veteran safety Mike Adams.

The Colts have signed Mike Adams the former Denver Broncos safety.

Mike Adams will bring some much needed experience to the Colts’ secondary. Adams has spent time with the 49ers, Browns and most recently the Broncos.

He played well in Denver, starting 27 games over two seasons including every game of the teams’ 2013 playoff-run. He will compete with Delano Howell and Sergio Brown for the starting safety spot opposite entrenched starter LaRon Landry.
