Where do you play college football?

4 years at Villanova then a 5th year season at Pace

How many teams were recruiting you out of high school?

I was contacted by recruiters at the 1A and 1AA level

How did you choose your school?

Villanova was my first offer and first official visit.  It had good academics and the team was coming off a national championship win.

Where are you from?

Trenton, NJ     Notre Dame High School

Who is your role model, and why?

My high school strength coach, John Mckenna.  He’s been like a second father to me since freshmen year of high school.  He played a large part in making me the man I am today.

Have any scouts met with you yet, and if so what are they saying?

None

Did you play any other sports growing up?

In high school I was on the track team.  My events where hurdles and high jump.

Did you play any other positions in football?

I was a RB throughout high school.  Then started FB my freshmen and sophomore year.  Played TE my redshirt year. Then back to RB for my senior and 5^th year seasons. 

At your position, what separates you from others?

The thing that separates me from other RBs is the way I see the field.  While at TE and FB I gained an understanding for route combinations and the way blocks are supposed to form on the interior line.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

The formations and favorite blitz in different places on the field.  Then map out how the offensive line would slide or climb to their blocks in each formation.  Finally see what other RB did against each front. 

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

My freshmen year at Villanova a LB who played for Richmond, McBride.  He put a few pass rush moves on me and was just a stickler to block all day.  Before the game was done he gave me my welcome to college hit, clearly haven’t forgotten it. 

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Marshawn Lynch: I’m not much of a vocal leader but I try to lead with my play.  I run with a purpose and I’m hard to bring down especially when I get to the second level. 

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

The biggest obstacle I have to overcome in my life is setting the bar high for my brothers, I am the oldest by 10 years of 5.  It’s what drives me and keeps pushing me forward because I want to be the best role model possible for them.  I believe that today a good role model is hard to find especially one known on a personal level.  Maybe it’s something that I’ll always chase but as of now it’s my obstacle that I’m working towards one day accomplishing. 

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

Before every game I pray either by the offensive bench or in the end zone. 

What is your biggest strength?

My biggest strength is being self-motivated.  There’s no one in this world that can push me harder then I push myself.

What is your biggest weakness?

My biggest weakness is over training because I know while I’m resting someone else is training or doing something to better themselves

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

If I had a second to sell myself I’d say I’ve never fumbled, in a game or in practice. 

Who was your favorite player and NFL team growing up?

My favorite team Eagles and my favorite player Brian Westbrook.  Westbrook in my opinion plays the game the way I like to play it, a silent assassin.  You don’t remember him for the things he’d say in the media but for big plays and a clear work ethic. 

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

If I could have dinner with 3 people it would have to be Michael Strahan, Jay Z, and Barack Obama.
