Where do you play college football?

University of Toledo

How many teams were recruiting you out of high school?

5-10

How did you choose your school?

Toledo was my only D-1 offer

Where are you from?

Hilliard, Ohio

Who is your role model, and why?

My Father. He has loved my mother, my sisters, and myself so well. He represents what a real man looks like.

Have any scouts met with you yet, and if so what are they saying?

They have met with coaches of mine, and from what I know they are saying good things, that teams are interested and that I have a shot.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Soccer, lacrosse, baseball, wrestling, golf all competitively. (snowboarding as a hobby)

Did you play any other positions in football?

No.

At your position, what separates you from others?

My mental ability. I play against a lot of guys with more ability than me but my ability to take every kick as just another kick and my faith that I am not in control, that I have a great God, allows me to do what other guys can’t and that’s be consistent.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

For myself, I focus on my follow through and my plant foot most. If those two things are right, everything else is usually good.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Braxton Miller in the State Semi-finals my Senior year of Football or Trey Depriest (starting LB for Alabama)

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Cairo Santos, Kicker for the Chiefs. He’s not the biggest guy but his swing is smooth and he is able to consistently hit the ball well and through the uprights.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

The loss of my good friend in HS. He Drowned in a quarry. It wrecked me, but my friends, family, and most importantly my faith were what pulled me through it and it has changed my life forever.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

No, not big on those things. I have the same routine to warm-up but I don’t have any superstitions.

What is your biggest strength?

As an athlete, it would be to accomplish the task at hand. I have always been able to rise to the situation and get the job done when my name is called.

What is your biggest weakness?

My competitiveness. It can be great, but at times I get to into a game. I can be hard on myself for something that I shouldn’t simply because I want to do my best at all times.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I get the job done, always. I am a leader, a Senior captain on D-1 football program and I will always put myself below the guys I am around. I care about people and I make the people around me better. I strive for greatness but I also know that my worth is not in a football game, but rather in my God and that can never be taken away. You won’t find a better guy to have on your team at my position than me.

Who was your favorite player and NFL team growing up?

Marshall Faulk, St. Louis Rams.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

George Washington, Martin Luther King jr. and Robin Williams.
