What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2027 NFL Draft?

My ability to find a way makes me a top prospect at my position for the 2027 NFL Draft. I take a high priority in attention to detail, not ever quitting, and finding a way to do my job at the best of my abilities.

Tell me about a time you faced adversity and how you responded?

I had a series of injuries early in my college career. I pushed through all the adversity in order to do what I promised Montana State and myself, and that was to play football at a high level.

What are your hobbies outside of football?

My hobbies outside of football are anything outdoors, hiking, fishing, backpacking, etc. I also like to play video games and I’m a comic book nerd. I love Marvel movies and comics. Lastly, I always enjoy finding time to spend with my family whenever I’m available too.

What role do you see yourself playing at the next level?

I see myself doing whatever I need to do to earn a spot and help the team win. I was recruited as a tight end and I started my college career at left tackle, then moved and started at right tackle all of the 2024 season, then moved inside to right guard for the 2025 season. This shows that I can do whatever I’m asked of at a high level.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

I have always been grateful for the opportunities that I had as a child and this leads me to want to help provide special opportunities to children who may never have thought that they could have these types of opportunities. This is why I would love to donate to organizations such as make a wish or team impact. These organizations provide kids with opportunities they and their parents never thought they would ever have. These can be once in a lifetime opportunity and make a serious impact on a kid’s life, that is why these are important to me.

How do you handle coaching, especially criticism or being corrected repeatedly?

I thrive when being coached hard. Being in the film room, I enjoy seeing aspects of my game that I need to get corrected. By being criticized or corrected, it allows me to have a primary focus at the next practice. A goal of mine is to not be corrected repeatedly. I focus on a correction, fix it, then move onto the next aspect of my game that needs to be worked on.

Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?

The most underrated teammate at my school is Burke Mastel. He is our left guard and has worked harder and pushed through adversity to become one of our foundational pieces to our offense. He does his job every day at a high level and works as hard as anyone.

If you could have dinner with three people, dead or alive, who would it be and why did you choose them?

  1. Theodore Roosevelt – One of the most iconic presidents for multiple reasons, but the reason I would want to have dinner with him is because of how tough he is. Being able to learn about his success and how toughness is related to it is why I would love to have dinner with him.
  2. Patrick Willis – I grew up a 49er fan when I was a kid and watched the day that Patrick Willis and Joe Staley got drafted. The NFL did a piece on his life and the adversity he faced growing up. Throughout the adversity, Paterick Willis figured it out and became of the most elite Linebackers at the time. His story is powerful and listening to it over a diner would be unbelievable.
  3. Daniel Morgan – Daniel Morgan was an American soldier in the revolutionary war who helped America win. He was a major piece to winning many key battles because of a different type of warfare he taught. He is a winner and being able to learn and talk about how he won so much in that war would be why I would want to have dinner with him.

If you were benched tomorrow, what would be the most likely reason?

Injury, I believe in myself to find a way to play on the field.

Walk me through your typical pre-game routine?

I get to the facility, get our team meal done, then we usually have a 2-hour break. In this break, I read a comic book with a particular superhero that I am trying to model my current game after. For instance, against Idaho State I wanted to emphasize dominance. So, I read Hulk comics to see a superhero win in a dominant fashion.  I read to emphasize a message in my mind, but it also helps me calm down before the game, and superheroes always win, which reinforces a winning mindset. After the break we go to our team walk and then I get in the training room and on the field to warm up before our actual warmups.

What is your favorite snack food?

I’m not the biggest snack food guy, but I love chocolate chip cookies.

What scheme do you feel you fit the best in?

I feel that I fit in any pass protection schemes well. For the run game I thrive in wide zone or tight zone schemes. In wide zone, I’m able to cut off the back side and stretch the frontside well. For tight zone, I can move the defender vertically well.

What is your degree in?

Currently I’m working on my third degree, which is a master’s in financial planning. My bachelor’s degree is in political science and my first master’s is in sport and coaching science. In total I will have 3 degrees after this season.

What would be the first thing you buy with your first NFL check?

I would buy my dad a new truck.

Describe a time in a game where you feel you made a mistake, and explain how you bounced back?

Against our in-state rivals at the end of the 2024 season, we were backed up against our own goal line. We ran wide zone to the right; they brought pressure off the front side. I missed my call to account for the defender, which resulted in almost a safety. The next play we ran wide zone to the other side (left) and I took my three-step decision, climbed to the linebacker, and helped spring a huge gain. This play ultimately put us in a position to end the game against our rival school.
