What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2027 NFL Draft?
My ability to play the ball in the air and run with anybody.
Tell me about a time you faced adversity and how you responded?
When I found out my labrum was torn going into fall camp of my last season. Had a big decision to make either to play through it, or play 4 games redshirt and come back for another season.
What are your hobbies outside of football?
Fishing and hunting. Love being outdoors.
What role do you see yourself playing at the next level?
Whatever a team needs me for. I’m extremely versatile and can play all specials teams as well.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
Probably youth programs for sports, especially closer to home. They struggle with raising enough money for equipment, coaches, and pretty much everything else in between. I want recreational departments to thrive now like they did when I was a kid.
How do you handle coaching, especially criticism or being corrected repeatedly?
I embrace it. Grew up a coach’s kid so I don’t know anything else. To me, to be coached is to be loved, so that’s how I look at it.
Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?
River Helms TE
If you could have dinner with three people, dead or alive, who would it be and why did you choose them?
- Micheal Jordan- would like to pick his brain about his competitive edge and accountability to teammates.
- Jon Gruden- would like to know what weaknesses he sees in me as an offensive coach. Think he’s just a funny dude too.
- Bill Dance- Because I love to fish and I know he’s got some great stories up his sleeve.
If you were benched tomorrow, what would be the most likely reason?
I got hurt.
Walk me through your typical pre-game routine?
Walk down to other goalpost when I get into stadium. Say a prayer on the goal post. Walk back to the locker room grab my cleats and do some ball drills. Then until game time I’m just chilling, I try to not work myself up too much. I don’t even listen to music for real. Just enjoy the moment, eat some trolli gummy worms and get my mind right.
What is your favorite snack food?
Beef jerky.
What scheme do you feel you fit the best in?
Cover 3 match with some cover 1. I like to play press man when I’m in man. Like to have eyes on qb while playing zone. Schemes similar to seahawks and ravens.
What is your degree in?
Interdisciplinary studies
What would be the first thing you buy with your first NFL check?
Maybe a truck. Would save most of my money while I’m playing. Want it to last after ball.
Describe a time in a game where you feel you made a mistake, and explain how you bounced back?
Gave one up early against Ole Miss in ‘24 while in man. Knew I was better than that and kind of let the moment get too big. Bounced back and ended up having a pretty decent game after that and even caught a pick. After that, I swore to never let the moment get to big. To believe in myself no matter who I was up against.
Name three songs, we can expect on your playlist?
Anything Morgan Wallen
