What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2026 NFL Draft?
I’m a versatile defensive back with elite length, range, and physicality who can impact the game in multiple roles. I’m comfortable playing in the box, close space quickly in the run game, and matching up with tight ends or bigger slot receivers in man coverage. I have the change-of- direction skills to hold up in man, along with the range and awareness to make plays in space. My versatility allows defenses to stay in the same personnel while still being effective against both the run and the pass.
What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
I’m a true student of the game with fast processing speed. I take information from film study and weekly game plans and apply it immediately on the field. My football IQ, ability to diagnose concepts, and react in real time in pressure situations are among my biggest strengths.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
I’d support better mental health access for young people such as therapy. A lot of younger people struggle quietly, and early support can change the trajectory of their lives.”
Who was your role model?
My father. He competed at a high level in college and played professionally, but what I admired most was how he carried himself. He always put others first, handled his responsibilities, and stayed disciplined even when things got difficult. Watching that growing up shaped how I approach football and life.
Who is your favorite NFL team?
The Dallas Cowboys. I was born in Dallas and lived there for a short time growing up.
Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?
Jamair Diaz. He played defensive end for us. He’s a late bloomer coming from JUCO, but he was elite in the four games he played before getting hurt.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
When people refuse to grow or adapt when change is necessary. You can’t stay stuck in your ways and expect to be successful. Especially in a competitive environment.
Who is your favorite teacher ever?
My favorite teacher was Mr. Thompson, my high school history teacher. He held everyone to a high standard and didn’t let excuses slide. At the same time, he was super cool and allowed us to have fun.
Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
My senior year of high school. I didn’t have many offers, and I was trying to transition from playing offense to defense, which left me feeling lost and uncertain. I took a hit to my confidence, but that period forced me to recommit to my development, trust the process, and find clarity in who I was as a man.
If you could have any franchise restaurant in your house what would it be?
JJ’s chicken
What is your favorite snack food?
Smartfood Popcorn
What is your degree in?
Hospitality Management
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?
Kobe Bryant, for his work ethic; Gunna, favorite rapper and influence; and Ed Reed, to learn how he studied the game and dominated mentally and physically.
What is your biggest weakness?
Overthinking at times. Early on in my career, I wanted to get everything perfect, which would slow me down.
