What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2026 NFL Draft?

My tackling ability and ability to find the football when it’s in the air. I was fortunate enough for my coach to put me in positions to succeed this year, but it also came with having to be able to read and react to what I was seeing on the field. Being able to read the quarterbacks eyes allowed me to come down with 6 interceptions this season which led all of USPORTS, while also making some big hits over the middle. I am also able to read run quickly which enabled me to come down hill and either fill gaps or make the tackle outside of the box.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

I am very versatile. My first three years playing in university I was a field halfback. This allowed me to often play in low zones, be closer to the box, and also be in man coverage. After having a couple successful seasons, I was moved to safety as I was one of the more veteran players who was more capable of communicating with everyone, and ensuring we were all on the same page. Once I made the move I became very comfortable in the position. I am comfortable playing any defensive back position or even being a coverage linebacker, no matter where I am, I am confident in my ability to make plays.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

A cause I would donate to would be for Alzheimer’s research. I am fortunate enough that I have not lost many people in my life due to illnesses, but I have lost a great uncle to Alzheimer’s and even though I was young I could see how it affected my other family members during that time. I also used to work at a retirement home and have come across a lot of people that deal with this disease, seeing it firsthand made me realize how negative of a impact it has on someones health and also the people around that person trying to help them out.

Who was your role model?

I would consider my dad as my role model. Looking back at my childhood I am able to appreciate everything he has done for me in order for my brothers and I to have a good life. He played a large role in getting me to where I am today due to him being able to put me through sports my whole life, putting food on the table, a roof over my head, while also still having time for my brothers and I in his daily schedule.

Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?

Joshua Jack would be the most underrated. Everyone knows he is a great athlete and very talented. Playing receiver, it is often out of your control if you are given the opportunity to shine or not. Looking at his stats, it might go over most peoples head when it comes to his playing ability, but anyone that knows him and pays attention knows he is a great player capable of doing great things.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

People with no manners. Saying please and thank you is such a simple thing that can go a long way, so when people fail to do that it throws me off.

My high school gym teacher, Mr. Sikic. We always got along all the way through high school since he was my gym teacher and also my football coach. Even to this day he still messages me to congratulate me on accomplishments I have reached in football.

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

Last year when I had a season ending injury was definitely tough on my mental. I went from participating in the east west bowl, to training all off season long getting ready to play the coming season, just to injure my back an have to sit out the whole year. It was one of those injuries I was unsure if I would be able to bounce back from it and continue playing. I had to hope for the best while also telling myself I have to be at peace with the fact I might not be able to play again. Fortunately enough, I was able to recover and come back better than ever, but at the time I definitely wasn’t in the best head space while going through it. Regardless, it taught me to stay positive and keep my head up and trust the process and plan God has set for me.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

  1. Tom Brady: He’s considered the GOAT and most successful person to ever play the game of football, being a football player myself, I feel I can learn a lot from him and what it took to get to where het got to.
  2. Adam Sandler: He’s not necessarily my favourite actor, but he does put out some good movies. He also seems like a genuine guy that could have a good conversation and keep me entertained and engaged.

I have a huge sweet tooth and always have. Any type of snacks or desserts get my attention real quick. Theres times I can be strong and hold out but there’s other times I definitely give in to the temptations.
