What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2027 NFL Draft?
- I believe I am one of the most versatile DB’s in my draft class. I am somebody who has registered multiple game snaps at every position from Boundary Corner and Field Corner, to Free Safety and Boundary Safety, to also Nickel and Dime over the 4 years I’ve been a starter.
Tell me about a time you faced adversity and how you responded?
- When I lost my position coach last year half way through the season. That has never happened to me before. The way I overcame the whole process quicker than most was by doubling down on my preparation and accepting the losses that are going to come with the game.
What are your hobbies outside of football?
- I love photography. In fact I started my own photography business on the side that has seen some success. I’ve shot high school and college athletics at the highest level. I’ve shot concerts of well known artists and wildlife across the globe.
What role do you see yourself playing at the next level?
- I see myself at the next level playing either in the slot or in a high safety role. I believe my game mimics DB’s like Kenny Moore, Jourdan Lewis, and Budda Baker.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
- I would donate to the Help Children In Africa fund. Being half Kenyan and having the chance to go to that side of the world and see first hand the beauty’s and the tragedies that is the cause that first pops up in my mind.
How do you handle coaching, especially criticism or being corrected repeatedly?
- I believe I handle it well. I play the hardest position in football so criticism and coaching is going to come with it. Take your emotions out of it and listen to what the coach is saying vs how he is saying it and you’ll become a better player instantly.
Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?
- Amonte Cook, he is a Redshirt Freshman slot receiver. Watch for his name to be called here in a few years!
If you could have dinner with three people, dead or alive, who would it be and why did you choose them?
- LeBron James: that’s my goat and we’re both from Ohio so I would love to pick his brain on how he stayed consistent doing the boring things in his career.
- Deion Sanders: Arguably the greatest DB to play, I need all the sauce!
- NBA Youngboy: I wanna look back at his past with him and see where he drew his success from and look into the future at what he has planned next.
If you were benched tomorrow, what would be the most likely reason?
- There wouldn’t be a reason, I’ve taken too much pride in my preparation this year to allow that to happen to myself.
Walk me through your typical pre-game routine?
- Wake up, head to facility, stretch and watch first two drives of last game. Chill, go to team meeting, go eat, back to facility stretch again with music in. Get dressed and get hyped go on field warm up and do pre game stuff. Come back in find a quiet room and just visualize myself winning over and over. Then go back out on to the field for gametime and WIN!
What is your favorite snack food?
- Skittles
What scheme do you feel you fit the best in?
- Any Scheme. Any Personnel. I’ve been in a heavy man blitz scheme for the last 2 years where we run 80-85% man and I have learned to excel at my role. Before that I was in a pattern match defense where we ran man probably 60% of the time and I believe I learned to excel in that role as well.
What is your degree in?
- Integrative Studies with a focus on Project Management
What would be the first thing you buy with your first NFL check?
- I would use it to pay my rent forward as far as I could and then start investing the rest.
Describe a time in a game where you feel you made a mistake, and explain how you bounced back?
- @ Pitt State 2025. I tried to guess a short route on 3rd and 1 and got beat deep. The pass was incomplete however it still felt like a mistake. I bounced back by honing into my technique. Telling myself every play before the snap “Eyes. Feet. Hands.” so that I wasn’t guessing but reacting instead.
Name three songs, we can expect on your playlist?
- Never Recover (Lil Baby, Gunna, Drake)
- Lil Top (NBA Youngboy)
- Strike Riding 3 (Screwly G)
