Browns Rookie QB Shedeur Sanders Cited for Speeding Over 100 MPH

Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders was pulled over early Tuesday morning after reportedly driving more than 100 miles per hour on a local highway.
According to reports, Sanders was clocked at 101 mph while heading north on I-71 around 12:24 a.m., which is 41 mph over the posted speed limit. He was cited on the scene. While details remain limited, Sanders has the option to pay the fine or contest the ticket in court.
Sanders was driving a 2025 Dodge pickup truck with Colorado plates at the time of the traffic stop, according to the citation.
The Browns selected Sanders in the fifth round of this year’s NFL Draft, a surprising fall for the former Colorado standout.
He posted impressive numbers in 2023, throwing for 4,134 yards and 37 touchdowns while playing alongside Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter.
