What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Going through school I wanted to do something to not waste my size and my family helped push me into it and it helped me make use of my abilities.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

First win we helped the school get in several years in college and in high school being able to play one of the higher ranked teams and stick with them and show them what we were capable of.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

Have the capability to help younger athletes and have them look up to me to show them “this guy can do it so can I.”

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?

JJ Watt, amazing work ethic, great characteristics and seems like a great guy to be around.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My grandfather, he’s higher up in age and has a bunch of wisdom from the past that required a lot out of him.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

4-3, just something about having 4 defensive linemen and being in sync with them and in my career I believe it gave us more stability from the defensive line aspect.

What should we know about Jarveon Williams the person?

He’s always energetic and outgoing with a smile on his face and through thick and thin he’s there.

What stands out about your film the most?

Ball awareness, within plays you can just see the effort to disrupt the ball pattern and movement and my explosiveness.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

In life, one day at a time and don’t rush to get through it. On the field, if it’s something I’m doing I take a step back and analyze it and if it’s a team problem we just try doing something different.

What would a team get in a player like you?

They’d get someone ready to work and wants to challenge himself to get better and a playmaker.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

Either the weight room or the buildup to the games and that’s where you realize you got it.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Michael Markgraf, I played with him in high school and he did everything and he was short that’s why he didn’t get the recognition he deserved.
