South Carolina High School mourns the death of one of their star football players
A South Carolina high school in the Columbia area is grieving the loss of a student who was a member of the varsity football team. Troy Moore, a student at Blythewood High School, has passed away, as confirmed by head football coach James Martin.
The news was also shared in a post by the Blythewood Bengal football team‘s Facebook account, which stated:
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of Troy Moore, a cherished member of our family. His talent, dedication, & bright spirit made a lasting impact on all. Thoughts & prayers with his family & friends during this time. Keep our community in prayer. Rest easy, Troy. #TroyStrong51”
In memory of Moore, Blythewood High School plans to honor him by adding his jersey number, 51, and TM decals on the helmets. At this time, the cause of Moore’s death has not been released, and details about when and where he passed away are not available.
