1. What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Watching the Packers when guys like Brett Favre and Donald Driver were on the team really inspired me. Seeing the joy they had playing the game made me want to experience the same joy and excitement.

2. What are your favorite moments from your football life?

I’ve had a lot of memorable moments from my playing career. From being coached by my Dad in youth, to playing HS ball with the guys I grew up with, and then to playing at Titan Stadium, my playing career has been a blessing filled with lifelong memories.

3. Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My Mom is incredibly resilient and strong. She has been through different medical procedures for as long as I can remember, but it hasn’t dimmed her positive view of life. She has taught me that every day is a gift, that should be filled with laughter and love. Seeing the pain she has endured reminds me that I can overcome any obstacle.

Through blood, sweat, and tears my Dad has worked his way from the bottom to the top. I’ve learned the importance of respect and determination from him. He also gives me great advice.

My brother is very determined and has a solid work ethic. This pushes me to keep giving my best, both on and off the football field.  He has shown me how important it is to be reliable.

Together, they all inspire me to be the best version of myself and to face challenges head-on. Their combined influence shapes my character and drives me to excel in everything I do.

4. What are you looking forward to in your upcoming season?

The challenging schedule we have this season is something I’m looking forward to. Our out-of-conference games are going to be highly competitive against some top-notch teams, which will be great preparation for playing in the best conference in Division 3. I’m excited about the opportunity to grind through these tough games with my teammates.

5. If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Jerry Rice. It would be cool to hear about the different ways he approached the game of football. He wasn’t the fastest or biggest guy but his dedication and ability to go from a small school to the best WR of all time is something that would be very interesting to hear about from his perspective. Tyler Lockett is also someone I look up to. I love his play style and the way he carries himself both on and off the field.

6. What are your favorite things about playing football for Oshkosh?

The brotherhood and strong relationships I’ve built with people are my favorite things about playing football for Oshkosh. Playing against good competition, and the pride people have for the school all add to it as well.

7. What should we know about Trae Tetzlaff the person?

I value each day as an opportunity to spread joy and positivity. I view life as an adventure meant to be enjoyed and shared with others. I enjoy finding ways to uplift those around me. I pride myself on putting forward my best effort in every facet of life. I am determined to always overachieve and push myself to the maximum of my abilities.

8. What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

I’m a fan of any offense that is creative and puts talented well-prepared players in positions to succeed.

9. How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I stay focused and determined, while always maintaining a positive mindset. I understand the importance of having a strong supporting cast, whether it’s my teammates, coaches, or family. They provide great advice and support, helping me find solutions to any obstacles I face. Adversity is important, it helps you grow and develop resilience. Facing challenges teaches valuable lessons and strengthens character, both on the football field and in life.

10. What would a team get in a player like you?

They would get a player who truly appreciates being coached. I value the guidance and feedback from coaches to help me become better. They would also get someone who is determined and understands what it takes to play at a high level. I am constantly working on my skillset and always looking to improve.

11. What stands out about your film the most?

I would say my ability to track the ball, and catch the ball in 50/50 situations. Also, a strength of mine is my route running and ability to find open windows for the QB.

12. Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

I got a few. Pep Flores, Alex Regenfelder, and Trent Remmers. These are guys who were very athletic and had a deep understanding of the game of football. They held themselves to high standards and worked hard at everything they did.
