What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

I got hooked on the love of the game after my first couple practices in little league. Found out I was pretty good and made some great friends.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

The feeling you get after winning a game with the teammates you’ve worked so hard with. It’s a pretty irreplaceable feeling and something I will always cherish.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

I’m looking to achieve more of those moments where your hard work is paying off, and it shows. I want to win, I want to be a friend to new people I meet and a helping hand to those who are in need, it would also be great to be paid to play the game I love.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Aaron Rodgers probably. That guys the chilliest. We went to the same Juco and I just think he’s funny.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My mom and dad both inspire me in their own ways. My mom is the color yellow and my dad is a very hard worker. I try to take the best from both of them and apply it to myself.

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

Pro style 11 or 12 personnel. I feel like it gives the offense a lot of freedom to have a balanced attack.

What should we know about Steele Roring the person?

Steele is excited for the new opportunities coming his way and will meet any challenges. He loves to compete and works to get better everyday. Steele is always a student to the game and of life.

What stands out about your film the most?

My film shows that I am a true hybrid tight end. I am able to block and catch, which is something not a lot of tight end’s are athletic enough to do. Being able to do that gives offensive coaches a lot of range of what they can use me for, it creates some matchup problems for defenses.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

Methodically. There needs to be a plan and a strategy to at least make your next step, have the best foot forward. You need to have an understanding that you’re not always on top, but you can always put your best foot forward.

What would a team get in a player like you?

Someone who puts the success of their team above their own, who is coach-able and someone with a positive attitude. I am someone they would want in their locker room.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

I love all the things it’s taught me over the years whether that be hard work or being resilient. It’s also given me new friends and family that I will be in touch with for the rest of my life.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Hands down Dallen Engemann. He is the greatest Pro style QB I have ever played with and by far has the most consistently accurate arm. He has great touch on his throws and can read a defense very well, the guy can also scramble when needed and pick up extra yards. Just overall the best QB I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with.
