Broncos are wide open to trade up in the first round for a quarterback

A Denver Broncos trade-up in the first round sounds like that could definitely happen if the right player is on the board. In a press conference George Paton was very clear that if a quarterback is on the board they love, they will do whatever it takes to get the guy they want.
“I would just say if it’s a player that you think can change the landscape of your organization moving forward, — like a quarterback — then you do whatever it takes to get him,” Paton said.
Sean Payton even said he considers the option to trade up a realistic possibility.
“That certainly is a possibility and then it’s how much you can palate,” Broncos coach Sean Payton said Thursday at his team’s pre-draft press conference.
I would not be shocked to see the Broncos trade up, but how far are they willing to go? Yesterday, we heard the Patriots GM Eliot Wolf say the Patriots are open for business. This would allow the Broncos to get a top 3 quarterback.
