What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

I started playing football at a young age and I have loved it ever since. Started playing with my childhood friends and haven’t looked back since.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

One of my favorite moments in my football life would be my first college touchdown. I had my first TD as a running back against South Dakota State and that moment gave me a lot of confidence.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

I want to achieve my goals of making it to the NFL. It’s always been a dream since I was a kid, but these last few years have made that a possibility. I want to keep getting better and actually have an impact as a professional player.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

I would say Devin Hester. He was such and inspiration for me growing up and he is the reason I picked #23.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

I would say my parents inspire me the most. They have made so many sacrifices over the years and just seeing how much they believe in me makes me want to achieve these goals of mine even more.

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

I have always been apart of a spread offense, but I love an offense that throws the ball. Love route combinations that work off other route combinations. I think an offense that is schemed off it’s player’s strengths is a dangerous offense.

What should we know about Sam Schnee the person?

I’m a funny guy, but also very serious. I believe I’m the hardest worker in the room and I am very passionate about what I do.

What stands out about your film the most?

I think my route running is crisp and my ability to get open vs man coverage stands out.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I would say I handle challenges by attacking it head first. I feel like I’m good at identifying what I can do better and then I’m going to make sure I fix those mistakes.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A team would get a solid slot receiver out of me. I am a great team player and I take pride in being a great teammate. I take pride in all of the hard work I have put in and that work ethic I have instilled in myself won’t be going anywhere. I’m only going to get better and better.

What do you love the most the game of football?

I love the team aspect about football. I love being with the guys and putting in all of the hard work together. I also love seeing the hard work pay off.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

I would the most underrated player I’ve played with is Logan Wolf. He’s been a teammate of mine throughout my college career. He is one of the most dependable guys on the field and is also one of the smartest football players I’ve played with.
