What made you decide wanted to be a football player?
I came into the states wanting to play basketball and my basketball coaches thought I should play football and originally I thought football would be a side thing but now I’m committed to football.
What are your favorite moments from your football life?
Really just being with my teammates who are my brothers and all the moments I have with them like on the field, in the locker room and off the field.
What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?
I’m trying to do my best to prepare for the draft and hopefully get drafted by an NFL team and give that team my all as a hard playing player.
If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?
Lamar Jackson, he has a bunch of knowledge about the game and I love his game but I also think he would be someone fun to hangout with.
Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?
They all inspire me but if I had to pick one it would be my father who has pushed me the most to be where I am and I wouldn’t be where I am without him pushing me and inspiring me with his story and accomplishments each day.
What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?
The one that we ran in 2022 with Coach Briles, where we were able to have communication with the coaches on what we wanted to run even during the game rather than before the game and we could slow the game down and the offense let us execute.
What should we know about Brandon Coleman the person?
I’m pretty laid back, love sports and I’m a really competitive person and I like trying new things.
What stands out about your film the most?
That I’m pretty explosive with a fast twitch and have good hands that I use in the run and pass game and I also make sure everyone is ok and help players up if they fell down and get onto the line after each play being there for my teammates.
How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?
They are things you have to overcome and let you grow. Usually I analyze the situation like watching film and come up with a plan and make sure that you have a plan with every challenge you face and execute and don’t let a challenge get you down.
What would a team get in a player like you?
A hard worker, someone not afraid to go the extra mile, who is there for his teammates in any situation on or off the field and a player willing to do what’s best for the team.
What do you love the most about the game of football?
First thing is being able to push people around from point A to point B. And 2nd it’s such a team effort in the game of football and that’s what makes the game of football different is it takes everyone to succeed and not be selfish either.
Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?
Willis Patrick and Andrew Coker, Andrew he has a big body and is very athletic and has a fast twitch and is smart on and off the field and he would be a steal. Willis is one of the most athletic people for his size and he would be a steal in this draft. They are both great guys as well.
