Former UNLV football player shot and killed in New Jersey
We are learning that former UNLV defensive lineman Jameer Outsey was shot and killed on Saturday in New Jersey.
The 27-year-old former pass rusher suffered a gunshot would on early Saturday morning and died after being transported to the hospital.
Outsey was a graduate from Franklin Township High School and was a first team All-Area player in high school. He was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey and is the son of Wendie Barnes and Elisha Outsey.
He leaves behind his older sister Eboni Barnes.
Elizabeth police officers responded to the area of North Broad Street and Magnolia Avenue after reports of a male with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
