Talk about your experience as a student. What is your major/minor? Did you participate in any other activities or campus organizations other than football?

My experience as a student-athlete has been fairly straightforward. My Major is Sports Management, with a Minor in Business Administration and a coaching certificate. I have participated in black student union events, Intramural sports, and mental health/diversity and inclusion seminars.

What do your teammates say is your best quality?

My ability to hold people accountable and keep them at a high level while also being able to maintain my level of play on and off the field.

What kind of role do you see yourself in on the team? What scheme and/or position suits your skill set?

I see myself as a leader on the team on and off the field. As well as a key contributor to the success of the team especially in the pass game, and being able to help block the secondary to potentially spring a big play in the run game.

Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?

I would say everyone that has been a key factor on our defense over my time being here. Too many to list them all but the people I grind with daily make it the hardest for me and push me to be my very best.

Which one of your teammates impresses you the most?

I would have to say Bryce Duffy. He is a player turned coach. It was horrible to see what happened to him, but seeing his growth and willpower to make the best of his new situation is very inspiring. It also brought a realization that there is more to life than the game of football.

What makes you different from others at your position?

My overall size, speed, strength, and ball skills are definitely what gives me the edge over my competition.

Describe a time in your life when you were able to overcome a struggle.

I think the most prominent struggle I’ve had to deal with in my college career is being so far away from home. Being from a different country puts certain things into perspective. I am grateful to have the teammates that I do, along with a great support system to help me when times get tougher.

If you didn’t play football, what other sport would you play?

Basketball, easily. I grew up playing basketball, I didn’t play my first season of football until my senior year of high school.

What is something that you are most proud of? What would you say is your biggest achievement?

It would have to be the recent success here at Bemidji. From stories that I heard, we were always just one play away from making the playoffs. The last two seasons we were able to make it over that hump. Now this season we are geared up as a team to get over that sweet sixteen hump in the national playoffs

Describe one of the most memorable plays of your collegiate career.

I would have to say for me personally it would be my first ever touchdown as a collegiate athlete. As a team I have two: first would be the game-winning interception that former safety Jake West had against Northern State University in the 2021 season. Second would be the game-winning touchdown Malik Williams scored in our Homecoming game against Augustana University in the 2021 season.

What gets you “pumped up” before a game?

I don’t have one specific player that I enjoy watching, I am a fan of all the best current and former players at my position. My favorite NFL team is the Carolina Panthers. To get me pumped up it would have to be the Tavon Austin highlight tape.

What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any hobbies? Any secret talents?

I am a huge gamer, not always the best but I’d say I’m above average in the games I do play. I am also trying to dabble in a little golf when I can.

Why do you play football? Who or what motivates you the most?

I play football because you need all 22 guys on the field to do their job and in my eyes there just isn’t a sport that can compare to it. I am internally motivated, I hold myself to a high standard because I know where I want to get to in life.

What do you want NFL teams to know about you?

I am willing to help elevate my team in any capacity whatever role I earn. That could be playing in the two-deep as a receiver, being a returner, or even a gunner on special teams. I strive for greatness and I am willing to do whatever it takes to not only raise myself but the team as well.
