What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2024 NFL Draft?

My versatility, and ability to run routes at all 3 levels and catch the ball at an elite level.

At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?

Since I can remember. I started playing in second grade.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

I am very smart and have a great work ethic.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

I would donate to help single moms or children needing mentorship because I saw how hard it was for my mom once my dad passed away and the importance of having someone to look up to as a kid.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

Go get what you want out of life.

Who was your childhood hero?

My brother Michael. I wouldn’t be the person I am or accomplished what I have without him. He gave me the confidence to chase my dreams and showed me how to be disciplined and work at an early age. That has carried me a long way and will continue to do so.

Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?

I would say, Matthew Simmons. He came in as an LB (which I think he would’ve been an NFL prospect at) then was switched to TE to help the team and has been good at it since the day he made the switch. He’s a great person and athlete.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

People who don’t work hard but expect results or success

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

Losing my dad at 10 years old by far because I was forced to grow up right away. I believe this helped prepare me for all of the adversity I have overcome throughout my career and the adversity I have encountered and will continue to encounter throughout my life.

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

Washburn is special to me because both my parents and my brother graduated from the school. My dad is a national champion in basketball and in the school’s Hall of Fame. My brother went on to play in the NFL and will likely be in the Hall of Fame as well. Since coming to Washburn, it has always been my goal to be in the Hall of Fame next to them.

What is your favorite snack food?

Pretzel with cheese

What is the best part of football?

The best part of football is the emotional release it provides. It has always been my escape, and has given me and helped me find my purpose in life.

If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?

I have capitalized on every opportunity I’ve been given, what’s stopping me from doing it again?

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?

Definitely Keenan Allen.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

My father so I can talk to him now that I am grown up. Calvin Johnson because he’s my all-time favorite WR. MLK learned how he was able to gain so much traction and positively influence so many people.
