What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Growing up I watched a lot of sports but football was always the one who stood out to me. I was fascinated by the entire game and logistics that went into it. I wanted to be part of hits, long runs, catches and touchdowns so I began playing when I was 12 years old. The more I played the more I fell in love with the game and realized I was really good at the sport, as agreed many coaches and fans. From that moment I realized this was something I wanted to pursue and made it my focus to always put in 100% to make that dream of playing is a possibility.

What is your typical training routine?

When going through a typical training routine I like to be very consistent with what I do. I wake up around 6am, stretch and then make some breakfast and drink a protein shake. After that I do some cardio to get my blood moving and body loosened up before I begin my workout. I then do conditioning and get some field work in to make sure I am refining those important skills.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My daughter inspires me the most. She is what keeps me going. Everything I do on and off the field is for her. Though she is my biggest inspiration, I can’t forget about the rest of my family who has supported me through my whole football journey and push me daily to be the best I can be.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

What I look forward to is being the best player I can be. Showing everyone who has the same desire of playing professional football that they can do it. No matter where they come from or their background it’s possible with hard work and dedication. I plan to go pro so that I am able to make myself, family and friends proud and be able to be an inspiration to those that come from a similar background.

What stands out about your film the most?

My versatility is what stands out the most. Defenders don’t know what to expect. I’m a Swiss Army knife. I destroy defenders in the blocking game. Run through and pass them when the ball is in my hands. I also catch the ball out of the backfield. With me being so versatile I do a great job of keeping defenses on their heels.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

My favorite moments are the bonds and relationships that I’ve created over the years. Going through training, practices, film, etc. Through good and bad I can say that we are family.

What should we know about Romello Kimbrough the person?

I am a hard working man that loves competition. I will always put God and family first because without them I wouldn’t be the man I am today. Football has showed me a lot and I’ve learned a lot from it. With that being said I can’t wait to continue my football career at the professional level.

Which past or present NFL coach would you want to learn from the most and why?

A present coach I would choose is Kyle Shanahan. The reason I picked him is because of the way he uses his fullback. He gives his fullback an opportunity to be a great asset to his offense.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

First off I put God first and pray. I never lose faith in anything I’m doing. I feel like football has prepared me for challenges that I will face on and off the field. The game have taught me that you can make it through any adversity. Don’t give up and always push through with anything you’re doing.

What is the most elite thing you do and why?

Everything that I do is elite. I can honestly say that I do everything at a high level whether it’s on the field or off. This is just the way I was taught growing up. So with that being said there is not one specific thing that I do elite.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

I love competition that football bring out of people. Football brings strangers together to complete a goal and builds relationships that will last forever. I love everything football has done for me. Football brought me so many opportunities and I’m blessed to be apart of the game.

What is your message to teams that might want to bring you in?

I will bring my hard hat to work everyday. You will see consistency and I will give you 111% with the opportunity.
