What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

When I was younger because everyone in the neighborhood played football it was a must. But throughout high school I stuck to football to avoid being home sometimes or also all my friends played.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

Honestly, to become an NFL superstar. I have the ability to do so, why not? All I have to do is believe in myself.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Michael Vick, I always l thought he was the best QB when I was growing up, plus he can give great wisdom from his past and how I could shake off any mistakes I’ll make.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

High school, senior night before the game started while we were taking pictures I told my grandpa I was gonna school on the first play of the game and I scored the opening kick off.
Remembering my first catch in a my juco game is something I could remember as well, that was when I made a name for myself.
Every game my senior year.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My kids, without them I don’t know how much motivation I’ll have to continue to play.

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

RPO, give you multiple options on the field, I feel like you can read the defense and make the play post snap is well. You can never go wrong with spread concepts as well.

What should we know about MJ Link the person?

I feel like I’m a quiet guy, I don’t say much to people I really don’t know. I like to be alone sometimes. I try to stay out of drama, avoid the flashy lights. For the most part I keep to myself and just play video games.

What stands out about your film the most?

My speed, or route running. Also showing I’m versatile. There’s a couple clips with me at QB on there.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I’m a big thinker. So where there is pressure I think of multiple ways to go figure out the situation before I do anything with no clue.

What would a team get in a player like you?

Someone who will do anything to win. Someone who helps others out around to make sure we’re better as a team. Someone who thinks the same way as them.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

The competitiveness which makes the game fun. It’s also a form of me escaping all the extra outside situations that could be going on.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

D’Ondre Robinson. Dude can flat out play, I’m talking from every defensive position on the field. He’s a nickel back who I’ve seen play defensive end, linebacker, free safety. That’s a different type of skill set to have but I felt he was underrated because he didn’t play as many games due due to injury or suspension.
