2023 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Jordan Addison, WR, University of Southern California
Jordan Addison is regarded as a first-round pick in the 2023 NFL draft. We break down the skillset he brings to the table here.
Jordan Addison has been one of the best receivers in the college football in each of the last two seasons. The 2021 Biletnikoff Award winner at Pitt is one of the best route runners in the draft and safe bet to develop into at least a solid receiver at the next level.
This scouting report is also available in video format here. I strongly encourage everyone to watch that as it allows you to visualize everything I discuss in the scouting report.

- Can be utilized on screens and short passes – get the ball in his hands and see what he can do.
Weaknesses
- Limited Upside/Athleticism
- Doesn’t stand out from a physical profile perspective.
- His combination of size and speed isn’t someone you see go first round very often.
- Combine- 5’11 ⅛”, 173 pounds is pretty short and light combined with a 4.49 40 yards dash which is good, but not too impressive at his size.
Final Evaluation
Pos Rank: WR3
Projection: First Round
Addison projects very well as a good no. 2 or 3 receiver in most offenses, which is valuable in the NFL. His upside isn’t great, but he’s still a first round player in this class.
