William Penn football player Tayvin Galanakis was a team captain for his football team in high school and was a star wide receiver for Newton High in Iowa. Well, the star wide receiver was arrested and it is causing a huge uproar on the internet.

The police department is now being sued over the traffic stop for false arrest and civil rights violations, among other allegations. The freshman wide receiver has the internet very upset because he was arrested.

You can watch the 40 minute video and you will be pissed too! Galankis continually tells officers he had not been drinking alcohol and was willing to take a breathalyzer to prove it.

The Cop was not going to have it though.

As a law enforcement officer, I was pissed. I was pissed when Galanakis finally took the breathalyzer and it showed a blood alcohol level of 0.00, and he was read his Miranda Rights. He was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence.

Galanakis re-consented to a drug recognition test and a urine test. The findings by officer Andrew Shinkle determined he was not intoxicated and could go home.

As a law enforcement officer, I will say this police officer was an ass. I am glad the kid is suing. This was horrible.
