What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

I remember as a young child my interest grew watching football on tv with my dad and playing in the yard with my family members. It made me beg my mom to sign me up so I can play with the kids my same age. The love of the game of football was growing in me so fast, and I thought it was the coolest thing playing with your friends.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

My favorite moments in my football life is seeing my mom, dad and family members faces how proud I make them doing something I love. And being successful at it. Another favorite moment of mine is the relationship I have created with many teammates turned closest of friends playing this game. I have built bonds with people I would had never imagined encountering in my life so I’m blessed for that.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

I am looking forward to achieving and being a high level contributor to a team that will view my ability, toughness, smarts, and hard work ethics as a valuable asset to the team.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

I would love to hang out with Barry Sanders. He is one of the best RB’s to play the game of football and I am always finding myself watching his highlights. A sit down will be great and hearing any wisdom from him would be great as well.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My Uncle is the one who has inspired me that most during my football journey and he has uplifted me during the hard times of my football career. He is always so proud of me.

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

My favorite offense scheme from a run game standpoint is running duo or inside zone. I really like wide zone due to my running style. In the offense I like to display my pro protection abilities and hands out of the backfield as well.

What should we know about DK Billingsley the person?

DK Billingsley the person is a guy who is selfless, tough, and a smart individual. He work his tail off to be the best he can be at something he is set after to achieve.

What stands out about your film the most?

What stands out about me on film is the ability to make great cuts to create holes and vision to find holes. A hard runner to bring down. Excels on 3rd down protecting the QB in blitz pickup or being a valuable option out the backfield.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I live by the saying that hard times do not last tough people do. I apply this in my challenges I faced in my life and on the football field that things happen that are out of our control but if we respond positively and try our best to move forward that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A team will get a dependable, smart, selfless, and hard working individual. Someone who displays great leadership skills and leader of men.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

I love the most about the game of football is playing the game I love and the brotherhood I have being apart of a team.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

The most underrated player I played with is Carlton Martial. He is an unbelievable football player that does amazing things on the field. His story is probably one of the best in college football.
