What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2023 NFL Draft?

My experience and versatility makes me one of the best defensive back prospects in this years NFL draft. I’ve played in numerous defensive systems where we have all had success at Iowa State University, Central Michigan University, and now Saginaw Valley State University where, I’ve had starts at both free and strong safety, middle safety, nickel, outside corner, and slot corner. I also add value and production to special teams as well as I played on all four phases of special teams throughout my career.

At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?

I have been playing football since I was 7 years old. Before that I tried, t-ball, and basketball but I fell in love with football from the moment I first could step onto the football field

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

One thing that NFL teams should know about me is that I love football and team sport. I dont just like what I do I love it. There isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for the betterment of the team and to win. I pour my heart and soul into this game and being the best version of myself that I can be both physically and mentally.  You can trust me to always be responsible, on time and to represent the team at all times.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

If I could donate to one cause it would be to Feeding America. For over 40 years, Feeding America has responded to the hunger crisis in America by providing food to people in need through a nationwide network of food banks. Or I would donate to the youth of Think Detroit Pal, as a payback for everything they’ve done for me when I was a kid.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

I’ve received tons of advice throughout my career but one lesson my old coach, Matt Campbell from Iowa State always use to preach to us is that hard work does not guarantee you your hopes and dreams. I can respect this message so much because it’s real and quite frankly the reality is that execution and production is still important in this world.

Who was your childhood hero?

My childhood heroes are my parents. They were always present, loving, and supportive.

Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?

Our running back Isaiah Malcome from SVSU is just one of many underrated teammates of mine. He was fun and electrifying to watch all year!

What is your biggest pet peeve?

When my son makes a mess haha.

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

My entire college football journey while juggling personal life  and making it to the end while earning two degrees has by far been my proudest moment because it was so difficult to do.

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

All three universities I’ve played at has a special place in my heart because of the love and  opportunity to develop as not just a football player but a man that was giving to me. I am very grateful and appreciative.

What is your favorite food?

I love pizza.

What is the best part of football?

The best part about football is the relationships and connections you build throughout your playing days. I’ve found friends that will be my friends for life. Friends that I will invite to my wedding someday. And I’ve met a lot coaches that has opened a lot of doors for me in the real world as well.

If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?

I am the best defensive back in this years NFL draft and the right man for the job because I am durable, available, and versatile.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?

I would compare my play to a guy like Jalen Ramsey in todays game because I can play inside and outside, slot, nickel or corner. I can play man coverage, bump and run, off man, and zone coverage. I feel extremely comfortable in all positions of the defensive side of the ball.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

Floyd Mayweather, Tom Brady, and Eric Thomas because I’m a sponge,  I would just love to soak up their knowledge and learn from them how to be great.
