A former NC State football player was arrested after sending a threatening Tweet toward Wolfpack coach

The NCAA and NC State quickly moved to arrest a former North Carolina State Wolfpack football player after he sent a threatening tweet on social media.
The tweet allegedly said, “Imma get him I promise. Dave Doeren and the rest.”
Joseph Boletepeli the former defensive lineman back in 2018 and 2019 is being charged with stalking and communicating threats to the head coach.
This comes just days after three University of Virginia football players were killed after returning from a field trip on a UVA bus.
The crazy thing is police had to charge Boletepeli with resisting arrest after he allegedly pulled away from officers who were trying to place him in handcuffs, during the arrest.
Police reports claim, Boletepeli went to Doeren’s workplace several times and had previously sent threats to the head coach via text message and social media.
We are glad Coach Doeren is safe, but this is getting crazy. Should colleges have more security?
