California High School football coach Joe Pastrana shot after breaking up a fight at the school
Police say Vallejo High School defensive coordinator Joe Pastrana was shot after trying to break up a fight between several students at the school.
The shooting happened around 3:45pm in front of a group of kids. You can see a video obtained by TMZ Sports below, showing the kids running for their lives when the gun fire begins.
According to police, a fight broke out between a group of two kids. The kids that jumped in the car are the ones that began firing back at the students and a bullet hit Joe Pastrana.
The school cancelled practice last night when they found out about the news.
Authorities are asking anyone with information about the case to contact the Vallejo Police Department Detective Division at 707-648-4524.
