What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

I was little and watching my older cousin play football so that made me decide to give football a try.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

One of my favorite football moments would have to be the drive to be out there and be on the football field and win every rep while also being competitive.

What sets you apart from other offensive linemen?

My aggressiveness, I am a very aggressive player. I have good but very aggressive hands and I have good feet and a good motor and am God fearing.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

Very, very high from start to finish and I have a good motor and I bring the energy that people will like to be around and with good energy comes good discipline as well.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Larry Allen or Trent Brown, because I feel like my game has some similarities to them and I would love to sit down and talk to them to better my game and add tools to my toolbox.

How do you prepare for games?

I use a notebook and watch film on my opponent and write notes down and work myself through the game plan and hold myself to a standard and make sure I follow the game plan and go into a dark room and listen to music by myself and go out there and win battles one on one and usually it’s me vs me.

What should we know about Kris Stroughter the person?

I work my tail off day in and day out. I want to be the best at the craft I do and I want to make my teammates around me better. I’m an uppity guy meaning I have alot of energy and God fearing and a guy coming in there willing to compete and also love Laverne.

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

Four wide and pass blocking, reason why is I have a really good feel of pass blocking and know my assignment and where I need to be.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

Keeping my faith and I’m a God fearing man when doing things good or bad always look to the man upstairs.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A player that’s ready to work, coming in ready to grind and making relationships on and off the football field and coming in and thanking them for the opportunity.

What are you looking forward to in your upcoming season?

Being the best and becoming an All American and wanting to change my life for the better.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Naszir Mallory, that kid has probably one of the best motors I’ve seen. He makes me better and I make him better and when I see him out there on the practice field I know I have to bring every rep even if I am tired.
